Edwin Rivera is one of todays top Latin and dance music Dj’s/Music producers around the world. Born & raised in the Bronx NY of Puerto Rican decent, Edwin has geared his music career in a way that has allowed him to play at some of the biggest festivals throughout the world. He has played at hundred’s of festivals with his unique dj set, “The Musical Journey of Edwin Rivera”. This year alone Edwin has played in countries like, "Turkey, Cuba, Israel, Ecuador, Canada, Australia, Peru, New Zealand, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and all across the U.S".

Jae and Elle are a Dynamic Duo and Directors of Zafire Tampa. Jae has traveled internationally teaching workshops and Elle was a member of the world renown La Fuerza Suncoast performance team. Rico Bravo & Emily Elzea
Rico Bravo wanted to learn and dance to the music he loved after seeing his parents perform. He began training under them and performing at numerous local events. He has won multiple dance competitions over the years. Rico formed Bravos De La Rumba Dance Company, which toured across the U.S. He also made appearances on Star Search and Marc Anthony’s music video, Valió la Pena and continues to establish himself as one of the rising stars in the Salsa world.
RW Latin Dance
Rodrigo & Wendy (RW Latin Dance) are renowned instructors and performers in Charlotte, NC who have graced numerous stages locally and abroad. Trained extensively with World Master Instructors and ESPN World Salsa & Argentine Tango champions they also have been featured in public broadcast television shows as well as the International Latin Dance Film “La Epoca”.
RW have been traveling to teach all over the United States and internationally. The specialize in “SALSA TANGO” & “BACHATANGO” fusions. They have also danced alongside numerous salsa superstars. They are incredible instructors.
Instructor Damian Guzman is an International Bachata Sensual Dancer, Instructor, and DJ. Damia is the Founder Of The MOB Dancers, a large group of dancers that travel around the world dancing together.
Michelle Holland is a fourth generation Alaskan who is passionate about both, dance and Alaska. She is the owner and operator of Alaska Dance Promotions studio and the host of the annual Alaska Salsa Festival.
Michelle is a professional, certified dance instructor. Michelle is full of energy that she uses to host parties, create choreography and coach several performance teams. Her instruction style is clear and fun and her excitement for social dancing is contagious.
Antonio Medina is from the Cape Verde Islands. He grew up dancing. He was first introduced to the world Salsa in 2006. Antonio has over 10 years of experience as a Latin dance instructor and is a certified Kizomba instructor. He is the organizer of the annual Tucson Afro-Latin Festival, the annual Arizona Dance Addiction, and co-organizer of the Orlando International Kizomba Festival and the IndyKiz New Year’s Eve One Dance Festival. He is a dynamic dancer, patient instructor and his biggest reward is to watch new students grow to become phenomenal dancers. He is also a retired U.S.Army veteran with 20 years of service and multiple combat tours.
Cesar Sanchez, DJ Yambu, was born in Mexico City. He grew up in a neighborhood where Salsa is a daily ingredient in the lives of all. As a result of his families influence, he began collecting music of all kinds at age ten. After moving to Seattle he became involved with professional dance companies. He joined a Salsa team, with whom he performed in multiple congresses. Currently, he teaches and DJ's at congresses and is playing at local venues and is the Co-founder of Mambo Pica Pica social dance in Seattle area Boston, Dallas.
Monzon Dance Company
Monzon Dance Company is based out of Tucson, AZ. The company was started by Angie and Mohan in the Summer of 2016. They currently they have 3 teams: ladies Bachata, coed Bachata and coed salsa. Besides the team, Angie and Mohan perform duets at the semi pro level. They have performed all over the US and Mexico. Prior to starting the teams, they ran successful Alma Tucson teams, a franchise of Alma Latina. They have also trained with world renowned champions from US and Mexico.
Emily Elzea trained in ballet, contemporary and modern dance since the age of 5, performing and teaching with the Mt. Baker Ballet, Northwest Dance, Duvall Performing Arts, and Vibe Dance in Washington most recently. After 8 years of dancing lindyhop, blues, and Westcoast swing, she fell in love with the music of salsa and bachata while living abroad. She began focusing on salsa and bachata with Corazon Dance Company and is now training with the Bravo brothers and dancing on their team.
DJ ATM, Jose Martinez, prides himself as the most energetic DJ in Alaska. He also hosts the annual Salsa On the Chena Tequila Cruise every summer in Fairbanks, Alaska. Jose is a passionate dancer and loves a party.
MARIO MORETO & MICHELLE VICALE
Mario's dancing thirst started at the age of 15. At 17 he joined the military and that took him to Alasks where he joined the Ritmovida dance team with Katya Kuznetzova & Stephanie Griffin. In 2005 he moved back to New York and immediately started working at the Arthur Murray Dance Studio in 3 different studios between Yonker, White Plains & Greenwich, CT. His first competition was in 2008 in the World Salsa Championships where he placed in 4th place, followed by a showcase competition in Mystic, CT where he placed in 3rd and is now following his dream of competing in the Rising Star Championships all over the Northeast. Backed by 13 years of teaching for Arthur Murray, Mario has proudly returned to Alaska 5 times for ASF. “Every year I have take away something new and special. I hope everyone is eager for a great time, because I definitely am!”
A dancer and performer for over 20 years, Michelle began her performance career at the age of 5 with gymnastics. She then continued her craft by becoming trained in various styles including tap, hip-hop, jazz, ballet, and lyrical. She performed in various competitions across Long Island, Mississippi, and even on cruise ships from 1996-2006. In college she was a dancer and lead choreographer with Terpsichorean Dance Company from 2007-2009. In 2010 she found her calling with Latin and ballroom dancing. Michelle has taught for numerous ballroom studios in New York since then, while coaching weekly with World and United States Rhythm Champions. She started competing in American Rhythm since 2012 and will not stop until she makes it to the top. Dance is not only her work, but her life’s passion.
Savannah Kizachatéra nicknamed "SaviKiz" is a Houston native who fell in love with the art of Kizomba in 2013. She has performed & taxi danced at congresses nationally and is now one of the most reputable female social dancers & “switches” (someone who leads & follows) in the United States. In addition to teaching Kizomba, she is an advanced dancer in Sensual Bachata, Traditional Bachata, Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, & UrbanKiz.
Savannah is the Founder of the Brutally Honest Dance Life Blog and Team SLAY; a networking group of dancers aimed to ensure the inclusion, safety and technical growth of ladies across all genres of dance.
Trained in Flamenco, Belly Dance and regional folk dances of Eastern Europe and the Middle East, Kristin incorporates elements across genres to create energetic and captivating performances, choreographies and classes.
The combination of her athletic and dance training have allowed her to develop both a working knowledge of body mechanics and muscular control, as well as the balance of strength, grace and fluidity that various dance forms require. She passes this knowledge on to students by helping breakdown movements so they understand not only how a movement should look but also how it should feel.
She welcomes everyone to her class and looks forward to working on isolation techniques you can take home, refine and incorporate into your own dance routines!
