1. What is the difference between a "Walk In Class" and a "Immersion Program Class"?
Answer: A walk in class is open to beginners who want an introductory dance class without any commitment. This type of class costs the dancer $12.00 to $15.00 at the door or an 8 Class
Punch Card can be purchased and used in any walk in class and shared between you and your friends. The punch card is not refundable but is transferable to anyone holding the card so
don't misplace it. A punch card can be used for any some Dance Classes or Zumba Class.
A Immersion Program Class is purchased in advance and is a 12 week commitment. The cost is usually $280.00 per dancer, not transferable or refundable. It last 12 classes and is held
during a 3 month period. It is possible to walk into a Series Class that you did not sign up for however the cost is $25.00 for that one class and is usually only available if the class is in
need of another lead or follow and the new dancer can match the level the class is currently at. A punch card may not used in Immersion Classes. It is very difficult to drop in on a
Immersion Class because each week builds on the previous week and it may feel too difficult for a new dancer.
2. What should I wear?
Answer: Comfortable clothes. Nothing fancy or restrictive. We recommend practice shoes, jazz shoes, socks or non marking - non sticking shoes that you can smoothly move in. Please do
not wear shoes that will mark or scratch the floor or be difficult to move around in. The normal attire is business casual, work out clothes, comfortable jeans and shirt.
3. What if I don't have a partner?
Answer: Perfect. Over 80% of our students come without a partner. They just want to learn how to dance and either have yet to meet "The One" or are amazing in love and "The One" has no
desire to dance. Don't let the partner issue stop you. You were created to move, to make music, to dance, design, eat, take on challenges, meet people. This is the place:)
4. What is the difference between ADP Series Classes and the new Immersion Programs?
Answer: The Series classes lasted only 6 weeks. The new Immersion Programs will last 12 weeks. The progress seen in the 12 week course should far surpass the Series Classes. The
Immersion Program will not only introduce and summarize but will give each dancer extra goodies, practice homework, history and info on the music. The Series class required a $75
dollar private lesson to catch a dancer up or give specific instruction to the dancer. The Immersion Program comes with two 30 minute private assessments that help the dancer know
exactly what their strengths and weaknesses are. We expect much better results and you will have a lot of fun. We switch partners throughout the class so try not to get too excited about
dancing with Mr Right or Misses Wrong all night ht. We find that you will improve faster with variety. In a Series Course you received get the basics for that dance, lead and follow technique,
a handful of great moves and patterns. With the Immersion Program you will get set curriculum over 12 weeks with weekly progress report. After 6 months of classes and a lot of practice
social dancing, we recommend moving up to a more advanced class, try another dance class for more options, or consider joining the Open Team. Team members get a lot of practice and

5. What are the advantages to Private Lessons?
Answer: A dancer will improve faster when the instructor can be solely focused on your progress. Private lessons are great for new dancers who are uncomfortable with looking "too new" in
their first group classes. I personally recommend Private Lessons for couples preparing for their BIG DAY or for dancers who missed a Series Class that they want to catch up on. I also
recommend Private Lessons for personal improvements that they want to see in their own dancing. A group class is not the place to ask for help with a move you saw on YouTube or that
you tried at a party and couldn't figure out. Also any dancer who is serious about performing or competing can reap great benefits from a Private Lesson. The disadvantage is the cost.
$75.00 an hour is a steep price to pay for an introductory class you could have enjoyed in a group class for $25.00. Ultimately, it is up to you and your comfort. Dancing is a blast and is
much better when you feel comfortable on the floor. Hurray for dance studios!

Answer: East Coast Swing and sometime Lindy Hop.
7. What is Bachata?
Answer: A romantic Latin dance that is danced with a basic 1,2,3 tap rhythm. Very smooth, contains allot of guitar and fairly simple to pick up the basics. This music is played at almost every
Latin club or party and is growing in popularity world wide. In fact, Bachata Festivals take place all over the country. We recommend the Bachata Festival in LA that is put on by Bachata
Calienta each February. Our Bachata class is only available as a Series Class on Tuesday nights at 7pm.

All programs are subject to a minimum class size of 8 and maximum class size of 16. If the minimum is not met the start date will be the following month. If the registration exceeds
the maximum than it is recommended to be have your contact information placed on our wait list for an opening in the program or join another program where space is available.
